a change without means and means without an end

Remember we used to be a member
Of love, peace and unity club
Representing fraternity and oneness
From sunrise to sunset we could argue nationhood
Assembling and conversing freedom
Right once toppled twice revealed and thrice thwarted
Squirming on their chair like buzzing bee on the petal
Forming, transforming and conforming to heed
Days passed haphazardly with act of wanton taking toil
Time became season less and labourless
As they neared conclusion power conquered
Candle lit for 40 years was blown off
Smoke started bellowing everywhere
Once calm state was thrown into a valley of state of nature and panic
Some said we have taken over once robust state with lawlessness
Vengeance became their immediate cue and their principle
Today they are heaving and panting like wasted deer
Heaviness, hardiness and harassment is their portion
From conflicting interests to condemning tone
They wanted change without a prize to pay and how could it be?
An enemy within I can see and solution without they devalue
Justice ill gotten is peace undermined
Lift your fist,box yourself and tell others what you have felt?
